Alberta Benjamin Wright

March 26, 1936 — November 30, 2023

“To everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the Heaven; A time to be born and a time to die; a time to plant and a time to pluck up that which is planted.” Ecclesiastes 3:1-2

A Time to Be Born….
Alberta Benjamin Wright, daughter of the late Rev. Foster R. Benjamin and Dorothy Mobley Benjamin, was born March 26, 1936, in York County, SC. She was preceded in death by her brother, LW Benjamin, sister, Dolores “Moote” Miller, and son-in-law, Bennie Bennett.

A Time to Plant…
Alberta attended the rural schools in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

A Time to Worship…
At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal savior and was baptized at Langrum Branch Baptist Church in York, SC. Later she joined Pineville A.M.E.
