Andrew Buster Tinsley, affectionately known as "Drew" and "Big Baby", of Cincinnati Ohio passed away on April 16, 2024, surrounded by family in his current home of Rock Hill, South Carolina.
He was born to parents Andrew B. Ely and Daphne C. Tinsley-Carter as the "baby of the bunch" on December 23, 1971.
Drew was known for his love of football, his passion for music, the powerful words that left an indelible mark on those he encouraged, and of course, his culinary flair--ranging from flavorful hotdogs to holiday breakfasts for his family and friends, and every dish in between. (His breakfast specialty was decadent cinnamon toast waffles and potatoes.)
Andrew attended Cape High School, was a graduate of Mt. Healthy High School, and attended the University of Cincinnati. Andrew was an innovative entrepreneur; in turn, he was self-employed at Verbatim Consulting Services. Mr. Tinsley was a faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where he used his gifts of music and media to uplift the Kingdom.
Andrew married Felicia Ferguson-Tinsley, the love of his life, June 17, 2000. He was a kind and loving partner as well as an amazing father to his three daughters Andrea, Dal's, and Kyla. Mr. Tinsley was predeceased by his mother Daphine C. Tinsley-Carter and his sister Anna Lynn Tinsley Powell.
Mr. Andrew Tinsley is survived by his loving wife Felicia Ferguson-Tinsley, his daughters: Andrea N. Tinsley, Dal's S. Tinsley, and Kyla D. Tinsley, his father Andrew B. eLy, his sister Aurillia Tinsley Gross as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
