Brittany Robinson Hill

July 1, 1991 — January 22, 2024

Brittany Robinson Hill was an amazing mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend.  She left us too soon on January 22, 2024 at age 32 after courageously fighting cancer.  Brittany was a woman of faith and love and an extremely strong will to live life in full color.

Brittany was the youngest of two daughters born to Gerald “Gerry” and Melanie Robinson on July 1, 1991 and she was the “best little sister ever” to Gerica who was her best friend for life.  Affectionately known as “Queen Bee”, her childhood was filled with joy and laughter and she was adored by everyone in her family.  She was the sweetest granddaughter, niece, and cousin and left a lifetime of wonderful memories.

She attended Lewisville High School in Richburg, South Carolina and graduated in the class of 2009.  Brittany went on to attend Winthrop University in Rock Hill, South Carolina where she pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and was still close to her line sisters until her passing.  She continued her education and graduated from Liberty University with a Masters in Family and Marriage Counseling.  Brittany dedicated her life to working with children with special needs especially children with autism.  Her most recent employment was with Carolina Behavior & Beyond, LLC where she worked with colleagues who loved her like family.

Brittany met and fell in love with Antwane “Jet” Hill, the love of her life, and they were married on January 13, 2018.  As a military wife, Brittany moved her and Antwane several times and ended up in El Paso, Texas where she lived while he was deployed to Afghanistan.  While in Texas, Brittany took on her greatest role as a mother.  Brittany gave birth to her angel, Mia Rose, on May 3, 2020.  She would often say that Mia saved her life and the world is so much brighter with Mia Rose in it.

Brittany enjoyed traveling, cooking and new adventures.  She loved tattoos and her body art was just as beautiful as she was.  Brittany was a fearless fighter and an advocate for Breast Cancer Awareness.  She was instrumental in the formation of Hart 2 Hart Breast Cancer Awareness Organization, Inc. and was responsible for educating women on self-exams and early detection.

Brittany’s legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.  Her life was a testament to the power of love, faith, and determination, her memory will continue to inspire those she left behind.  She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to shine brightly in the lives of her loved ones.

She is survived by her loving husband, Antwane; her daughter Mia Rose; parents Gerald and Melanie Robinson; sister, Gerica (Jarvis) Talford; grandmother(s) Hannah Robinson and Mary Francis Harris; grandfather Charlie Robinson; her aunts, Carlis Harris Welch, Pamela Benjamin, and Toye Hyatt; her uncles, Steven Robinson and William Kayoda; her nephew Carter and a host of relatives and friends.  Brittany was preceeded in death by her Grandfather Carter Harris.
