Carolyn Yvonne Miller

Carolyn Yvonne Miller, age 67, passed away January 27th, 2025. She was born to the late Coleman Elijah Miller and Mary Elizabeth Miller on January 13, 1958.

A native of Rock Hill, SC, Carolyn graduated from Northwestern High School and attended Winthrop College. After school, Carolyn worked as an administrative secretary for many years. She retired from Charter Communications in November 2024.

A well-known and beloved woman of the community, Carolyn was viewed as soft-spoken with a heart of pure gold. She was the epitome of the world’s best mom, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She valued spending time with her family and all those who she loved dearly. Carolyn was a staple to her family and will TRULY BE MISSED.

Carolyn was preceded in death by Coleman Elijah Miller (father), Mary Elizabeth Miller (mother), and Melvin Agurs (brother).

Surviving to cherish her memories and continue her legacy of love are her daughter, Demetria Blake, son, Eric Blake (Deondra), three grandchildren: Davion Blake, Devin Washington, and Madison Blake, two great-grandchildren: Daylin Blake and Alaia Blake, a brother, Coleman Jerome Miller (Connie); sister-in-law, Mattie Agurs; as well as a host of nephews, relatives, and friends.
