On Tuesday, May 6th, 2025, she heard the voice saying, "The place I went to prepare for you is ready. You must leave your loved ones, but I will take care of them as I have taken care of you."
Mrs. Carrie Bell Davis Joseph was born on April 24th, 1937, in York County, Rock Hill, SC. She was the daughter of the late Annie Bell Davis. She was educated in the York County School System. She was employed by Springs Industries for many years as a Weaver before retiring. She was married to the late Charles Zo Joseph, Sr., for over 60 years. They had 6 children. She was a people person. Her children and grandchildren were the joy of her life. She loved to fish, sew, and travel.
At an early age, she accepted Christ as her personal savior. She was a member of Pineville AME Zion Church. She served in the position of Deaconess, Stewardess, President of Gospel choir, member of Inspirational Voices, and served on the Culinary Staff. She was also a member of the Burial Aide society.
Mrs. Carrie Bell Davis Joseph was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Zo Joseph, Sr., daughter, Darlene Joseph McCullough, and two sisters Jeanette Hemphill, Janie Mae Walker, and son-in-law, Rev. Dr. Ronnie B. McCrorey.
Her precious memories will always be remembered by her two sons, Eddie Lee (Jacqueline) Davis and Charles (Angela) Joseph Jr.; three daughters, Betty (Patrick) Jennings, Linda Ann Joseph McCrorey, and Valeria Patrice Joseph; fifteen grandchildren, Jacqueline Davis Hudson, Eddie Davis, Jr., LaToya Davis, Rashad Davis, Sheldon Crawford, Alexis Davis Watts, Quevious Jones Long, Nova Jones, Ronnell McCrorey, Justin McCrorey, Rodriguez Joseph, Andra Joseph, Gerren Joseph, Brandon Joseph, and Shelden Joseph; thirty-eight great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
