Chrisshondra Lapaige Gaines

ChrisShondra LaPaige Gaines, 30, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, departed this life on December 13, 2024. She was born on April 1, 1994, to Rhonda Page Gaines and Christopher Gaines.

She was a vibrant soul whose spirit touched the lives of everyone around her. Her warmth, kindness, and infectious smile left a lasting impression on family and friends alike as she navigated life with an unwavering determination and a heart full of compassion

Paige, or Chris as she was affectionately called, was educated in Rock Hill School District #3.

At Castle Heights Middle School, she played the violin and was a basketball team member. She graduated from South Point High School in 2012, majoring in art, and was a member of the Lady Stallions basketball team.

Chris studied at Spartanburg Methodist, where she was a member of Sigma Gamma Rho and received an associate's degree in science in 2014. She also completed the advanced operations course at Hamburger University, where she received a Bachelor's degree in Hamburgerology to become and operate as a General Manager in a McDonald's Franchise. She was employed by Ice Age Management Inc. for more than 10 years.

She was kind and very mild-mannered and throughout her journey, She embraced her passions, whether it was through her love for the arts, community service, or her fierce dedication to family. She had a unique ability to uplift others, often putting their needs before her own. Her positive impact serves as a testament to her character and the values instilled in her from a young age. Chris's absence will be deeply felt, yet her legacy of love and resilience will continue to inspire those fortunate enough to know her. While her journey has concluded in this world, yet her spirit will live on in our hearts forever.
