Clara Bell Lee, 97, of 815 Carolina Avenue passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 10, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents Anne Barber Patton and Dudley Patton Sr., her husband Joseph Lee, her siblings Dudley Patton Sr, Robert Patton, Fred Patton, Willie Patton, Emma Robinson, Janie Sibley, Virginia Graham, Calbert Roseboro, Queen Ester Mackey, Cynthia Morrison, and Lizzie Gilmore, her daughter Dorothy Lee, and grandsons Spencer Lee and Tavares Agurs.

Clara Bell married Joseph “Joe” Lee at a young age. She worked as a Lead Cook for Rock Hill School District Three of York County and later retired after 30+ years of service.

She leaves to cherish memories, her sister Dorothy Moore of New York, her loving children James Wade Lee (Shirley), John Lee, Walter Lee, Betty Thorne (Louis), Carolyn Agurs, Ernest Paul Lee (Quentina), and James Edward Lee, a host of nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
