On June 4, 1965, Andrea Renee’ Cargile brought joy and love into the world. On December 22, 2023, she peacefully departed, leaving behind a legacy of faith and selfless service.
Andrea, the eldest daughter of Bishop Philip and Bishop Ruth Cargile, graduated from Elizabeth High School in 1983 and pursued higher education at Union County College and Kean College. A devoted member of the First Born Church of the Apostolic Faith of Rock Hill, SC, she actively participated in various church choirs and served as a deaconess under Bishop Phillip F. Cargile Sr. and Bishop Ruth A. Cargile.
She embraced the Lord Jesus Christ and was baptized in Jesus Name. Her love for the Lord was evident in her passion for sign language and skillful tambourine playing during church services. Andrea also contributed as the recording secretary for Passover services, president of the Jr. Usher and church videographer. Beyond her spiritual commitments, she was an amazing big sister and caring aunt, touching the lives of those around her.
In her professional life, Andrea worked in special education for 34 years, leaving a positive impact on her students' lives. Her dedication to service extended beyond her career, as she volunteered at hospitals and actively participated in the Volunteer Faith Center in Fort Mill, SC.
Andrea Renee’ Cargile will be remembered for her unwavering faith, kindness, and love that touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know her.
