Delores “Snow” Kirk Hemphill

Delores "Snow" Kirk Hemphill, 78, of Rock Hill, SC, passed away on April 18, 2025 after an extended illness. She was born during a snowstorm on March 8, 1947 to the late William Kirk, Jr and Ada Sanders Kirk of Rock Hill, SC.

Prior to her illness, Snow was an avid gardener who loved flowering cactus plants and most all flowers.

She was devoted to her church family at Gethsemane Church in Rock Hill and was passionate about serving others through volunteer work. Delores was dedicated to her family and delighted in spending time with her siblings and extended family. She loved taking long, scenic drives with her son and his family and was always eager to visit new places.

Delores' memory and legacy lives on with her loving children, Wylie Hemphill, Jr. (Jocelyn) of Rock Hill, SC and Gigi L Sizer (Vincent) of York, SC. She is cherished by her two grandchildren, Jordan A Hemphill of Greenville, SC and Brandon C Sizer of York, SC.

Delores is survived and missed by her siblings, William A Kirk (Loretta) and Donna F Kirk, both of Rock Hill, SC and is preceded in death by two brothers, Everette J Kirk and Dwight P Kirk (Clarissa) and two sisters, Wilma G Kirk and Fannie K. Little (Greg). Snow also leaves behind a host of adoring nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and neighbors whom she loved dearly.
