Frazier "Jack" Heath

Frazier "Jack" Heath, 85 of 103 Walcott Court, Rock Hill, SC, was born on June 14, 1938, in Chester County, South Carolina to the late Robert and Mattie Heath. Frazier was proceeded in death by his parents, brothers, Robert Heath Jr., Sammie Heath, Oran Heath, and Marion Rowell, sisters, Mary E. Heath, Gladys Heath, Virginia Heath, and Theodosia Watts, two sons, Edward Reid, and Dennis Earl Douglas, and one daughter, Wanda Riley.

A graduate of Emmett Scott High School, class of 1959. He started driving school buses for Emmett Scott, Fairfield, New Zion, and West End at an early age. He was also employed in his early years by JP Stevenson until closure and later a truck driver for Rock Hill Concrete (Metromont Concrete), where he retired. Frazier was a devoted member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church where he joined at an early age.

Frazier Heath was an avid sports fan with his favorite sport being baseball, which he started playing at the age of 14. He played with the New Zion Chargers, and even became a coach. His favorite teams were the Atlanta Braves, Los Angeles Dodgers, Los Angeles Rams, and Los Angeles Lakers.

"Jack" leaves to cherish his loving wife of 55 years, Carrie Douglas Heath; three daughters, Carolyn Ann Brown of San Francisco, CA, Rosalind H. Marshall, and Leslie D. Heath both of Rock Hill, SC; three sons, Morris Byers, Willie B. Douglas, and Tavarous White all of Rock HIll, SC; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one sister, Ruby Mann (Albert) of Rock Hill, one brother, Willie Lewis Heath (Paulette) of Charlotte, NC; four sisters-in-law, Peggy Heath, Mary Heath both of Rock Hill, SC, and Johnnie Mae McCrorey (Edward) of Newark, NJ, Ella Douglas of Jamaica Queens, NY; one son-in-law, Major Ridley of Lawrenceville, VA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
