Glenn Alexander Simpson

Mr. Glenn Alexander Simpson of 222 Crecent Apt. 302, Rock Hill, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, October 6, 2025. He was born March 2, 1950, in Rock Hill, South Carolina to the late Laura T. Simpson and Marvin Simpson.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Theodore “Bo” Simpson, Willie James Brice, Bobby Peterson, Tommy Simpson, and one great-nephew Jonathan M. Hall.

He was educated in York County Public Schools and was a truck driver for Lowe's for many years. He also worked as a custodian for Livingston College in Salisbury, NC, and Nation Ford High School in Fort Mill, SC for several years.

He was a faithful member of Mt. Hebron Baptist Church. He loved his football team the Washington Commanders, and he also loved sitting in the barbershop talking junk.

Glenn leaves to cherish his memory two daughters, Lakisha Lowery (Lo) and Torry Taylor; two granddaughters, Tyisha Lowery and Keosha Lowery; two grandsons, Aaron Christie and Marquez Rhinehart; five great-granddaughters, two sisters, Juanita Barnette and Frances Simpson both of Rock Hill, SC; two special nieces, Quanta Simpson and Brittany McGriff both of Rock Hill, SC; one sister-in-law, Margaret Simpson of Rock Hill, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives and numerous friends.
