Ishaa Emon Hinton Cameron

Ishaa E. Cameron, of Charlotte, North Carolina entered into eternal rest Friday, April 26th, 2024 at home.

Ishaa was born in Rock Hill, SC on September 14, 1982 to the late Charles E. Heath and Carolyn M. Hinton. She attended Independence Elementary school.

Ishaa relocated to Hartford, CT with her family in 1991 where she attended both Quirk Middle and Hartford High Schools. She was employed at Iron Mountain in Rocky Hill, CT prior to relocating to Charlotte, NC in August 2005. She was employed at various companies in Charlotte prior to her marriage to Dean A. Cameron on August 26, 2011. Ishaa then became a full-time homemaker to her 2 beautiful children Aja and Alijah. She was also a very active member of the Oakdale Elementary school PTA where she was the Treasurer.

Ishaa was known for being the life of any party that she attended. You were guaranteed a laugh. She was very creative so much so that she would make various household items using her Cricuit machine. She even used her creativity to come up with the 2009 Hinton Family reunion theme “Holla Back, Hallelujah” to merge the younger generation with the older generation.

Ishaa is predeceased in death by her parents, Charles E. Heath and Carolyn M. Hinton. Also, her father-in-law, Errol Cameron.

Ishaa leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Dean Cameron; her two children, Aja and Alijah Cameron. Her siblings: Tonya Thompson of Brooklyn, NY; Jamal Hinton (Jill) of Newington, CT, Armad Hinton (Geetanjalie) of Middletown, CT, Chaugulia Hinton-Brown (Kevin) of Charlotte, NC, and Benajaa Hinton of Rock Hill, SC; her mother-in-law, Pauline Cameron of Tampa, FL, her brother-in-law, Daren Cameron of Atlanta, GA, and sister-in-law, Sasha Cameron of Ipswich, UK and several nieces and nephews as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
