Mrs. Jacqueline Neely Brown, 62, of 428 Castlewood Circle, Rock Hill, SC 29730 departed her earthly journey on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Jackie, was affectionally known by her family as
"Jackie" or "Big Jack".
Jackie was born on December 1, 1962 in Rock Hill, SC, to Mr. Willie G. Neely, Sr. (Dizzy) and the late Mrs. Nancy Ruth Martin Neely. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr. Arthur Martin, Sr and Mrs. Candas Culp Martin and paternal grandparents, Mr. Jefferson Neely, Sr. and Mrs. Isabell Cunningham Neely; aunts: Carrie Boyd (Rev. J Boyd), Queen E. Culp (Willie James) Connie McCullough (Evans), Julie Martin, Beatrice Williams; uncles: Ulyssess Martin, Jefferson "Sonny Boy" Neely, Roosevelt Neely (Frances), Henry Neely, James "Jim" Neely, David Neely.
Jackie started her spiritual journey at an carly age as a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Edgemoor, SC where she attended until her health declined and she could no longer attend; however, her faith in God never wavered. She was a graduate of the Class of 1982 at Rock Hill High School, Rock Hill, SC. Jackie enjoyed reading, but you could find her at home watching some good movies when she wasn't working or visiting family. She loved her family...it brought her so much joy and laughter to hang out with them, especially her grandchild, Emoree Sanai Foster, who loved having long conversations with her Gran-Gran, Jackie. She loved dancing and laughing...which brought so much joy to her. She was most recently employed by Transaxle of America until her health declined.
She was also employed by Leiner's and Pharr Yarn, Clover SC for a number of years; she was not afraid of work. She wanted the best for everyone and would encourage those to do their very best. She enjoyed entertaining family and friends as wells as friends of family members at her house; her home was always welcoming. We will all miss her laughing so hard that should could not get her story out until she finished laughing.
Jackie, in addition to her father, leaves behind in loving memory; husband: James W. Brown, of the home; son: De'Juan J. "DJ" Shealey of Spartanburg, SC; daughter: Rayneesha N. Foster (Darryl) and grandchild: Emoree Sanai Foster of Rock Hill, SC; brother: Wille G Neely (Lynn Moore); sisters:
Glenda White (James), Gloria Weathers (Ronald Benjamin), Cynthia R Neely (Billy Adams); aunts:
Margaret E. Neely, Sarah Haughton, Brenda N. Davenport, Carrie A. Neely, Ann Williams (Calvin).
Catherine Robinson (Robert), Joyce Hemphill (John), Emma J. Henderson (Euphrates), Rosie Patterson (Buster, Sr), uncle: Arthur Martin, Jr, nieces: Ladaricka White, Sharicka White, Tamesha Neely, Shantrelle "Porshia Weathers; nephews: Darricous White, Kenneth Dunham, and Damorris Dunham (Jessica), JerbBroderick Siebles; great-nieces; Kelis, Kamille, India, Sky; great-nephews;
Tyvion, K'Sean, Ashton, Travis, Devon, Jaylen, Karson, & Kamryn; as well as a host of other cousins, family, and friends.
