James Crawford

Mr. James Crawford was born on March 29, 1952, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to the late Willie James Crawford and Rev. Pastor Georgia B. Crawford. He departed this life on October 23, 2025, at the age of 73.

At an early age, Mr. Crawford accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. He served in many capacities at Mt. Zion Rock Grove Park of Church of God.

Mr. Crawford attended school in Rock Hill, SC and in Chester County, South Carolina.

Mr. Crawford was employed at Inland Containers in Rock Hill, SC for many years. He was known for his hard work, loyalty, and good spirit.

In his leisure time he enjoyed fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

For the past six-seven years, Mr. James Crawford lived in Cleveland, Ohio.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory, his wife, Wendy Crawford; his children, Maria Wylie and Jamie Hall; his brothers, George R. Crawford, and Charles W. Crawford (Yvonne); his sister, Barbara C. Mills (Dewey); and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

His legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know him. He will be deeply missed but remembered with joy and gratitude for the many lives he touched.
