James “Kenny” Williams

Mr. James Kenneth Williams was born on August 10, 1958, in York County, South Carolina, the son of the late Mr. Willie Abraham "Pig" Williams and Mrs. Dorothy Hemphill Williams. He departed this life on Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 12:47 am. His spirit was freed to leave this world to live with his savior, Jesus Christ.

Kenny was a graduate of Northwestern High School Class of 1976, where he was a member of the R.O.T.C. and the Tiger Drill Team in Clemson, SC. He was baptized at China Grove A.M.E. Zion Church at an early age under the pastorage of the late Rev. Foster Benjamin.

He was preceded in death by three brothers; Mr. Everette Williams, Rev. Ricky McCullough and Tray "Woody" Abraham Williams.

Kenny leaves to cherish fond memories, his loving brother, Travis Canty (Tamala) of Windsor, Virginia; a loving sister, Dorothy Marie Williams of Charlotte, NC; aunts, Florence Pearl, Ruby Moore (Sam) both of Rock Hill, SC and Revella Williams of Orange, New Jersey; one uncle, Calvin Hemphill (Gladys) of Fayetteville, NC and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
