Jayden Zi’Mear Reid

Mr. Jayden Reid passed away suddenly on Tuesday, April 22, 2025. He was born on June 19, 2008 to Clarence Reid and Timeka Fladger in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He shared strong bond with his siblings that was undeniable.

Jayden was a junior at Rock Hill High School. He was very passionate about his schoolwork and excelled to be an honor roll student. As a result, of his academic performance he scored a level 4 on the SAT. He performed well in writhing, math and reading. He was smart and level-headed.

Jayden loved staying home and spending time with his siblings. He enjoyed playing his Playstation 5. He was humble, quiet and very respectful. His love for fashion, clothes and shoes lead to the desire to want to be an entrepreneur.

He leaves to cherish his memory his father, Clarence Reid; mother, Timeka Fladger; one sister, Raylin Reid; one brother, Kashtyn Curlee; great-grandmothers, Annie Douglas and Della Mae Graves; grandmothers, Tara Meadows (Cassius) and Angela Reid; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.

Jayden knew the value friendship. His closest friends were Mikel Graham, Jamichael Staley, I’moni Brown, Julian Cheatham and Kyre Hubbard. His humble spirit will be missed. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
