Jessie Lee Harris

Jessie Lee Harris earned her wings on December 30, 2025. She was born on October 31, 1957, in Chester, South Carolina, to the late Frank Harris and Ella B. Wylie Harris. She was the oldest daughter of 8 and a guiding light within her family.

Jessie grew up in Rock Hill, South Carolina, where she attended Rock Hill Public Schools and graduated from Rock Hill High School. A natu-ral athlete, she was known not only for her athletic ability but also for her kind, gentle, and loving spirit that touched everyone she met.

Though a private person, Jessie found her greatest joy in spending time with her family—especially her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, whom she loved deeply and spoiled endlessly. She was also a devoted San Francisco 49ers fan, proudly sharing that passion with her family.

Jessie will be remembered as a strong and resilient woman with a heart of gold. To her family, she was a true warrior. For more than 30 years, she courageously battled health challenges with strength, dignity, and grace, never allowing her circumstances to define her and never com-plaining. Her spirit ultimately outgrew her earthly body, and God gently called her home.

She never took life for granted and loved with every fiber of her being. Jessie’s memory will live on forever through the legacy she leaves be-hind

her beloved family her children Latasha Harris of Concord, NC, Makisha Harris, Queondra Harris, Darius Harris of Rock Hill,SC and bonus daughter Kashena Berry of Columbia, SC. Her sister Angelia Harris of York, SC, 4 brothers Frank Harris Jr, Gary B Harris, Eric Har-ris (Jan), Morris Harris(Calea) all from Rock Hill, SC. Her aunt Lola Wylie and God mother Elizabeth Witherspoon. Jessie was blessed to also have 6 grand daughters, 5 grand sons, and 4 great grand daughters. She is also proceeded in death by her brothers Ronnie Harris, Terry Harris, and Robert McCloud, 5 aunts and 3 uncles. She will forever be cherished deeply and her memories will continue to live on through those that knew and loved her.
