Ms. Kimberly Yvette Hoyles Kirk, 55, of 625 Taylor Street, Rock Hill, South Carolina passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at Atrium Hospital, Charlotte NC. She was born in Rock Hill, SC to Mrs. Eva Hoyles and to the late Mr. Willie Hoyles, Jr.

Kimberly graduated from Rock Hill High School in 1987. She also graduated from Spartanburg Methodist Junior College in 1989 and from Winthrop University in 1993. She was employed by Bright Horizon’s Child Development Center at Bank of America for 17 years. She finished her career at Avondale Presbyterian Church Children’s Center in Charlotte, NC for six years.

Kimberly was a church musician where she played the piano. She enjoyed playing the piano, watching sports, spending time with close family and friends and being a servant for God.

Kimberly loved her son, Gabe, her mother, Eva and her sister Pam. She also loved all of the kids she taught in preschool.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandmother, Ann Chisholm and grandfather, Samuel Chisholm; her paternal grandfather, Willie Hoyles, Sr.

She leaves to cherish the memories, her son, Gabe Kirk of Charlotte, NC; mother, Eva Hoyles of Rock Hill, SC; sister, Pam Hoyles of Wake Forrest, NC; paternal grandmother, Jessie Hoyle of Rock Hill, SC; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. She will truly be missed.
