Mrs. Maggie L. Robinson gained her wings and went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 25, 2026, at Rock Hill Post Acute Care. Mrs. Maggie L. Robinson was born on July 2, 1929, in Rock Hill, South Carolina, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Dorcey and Frank Brice, Sr. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Gene Robinson; son, Mr. Frederick Edwards; sister, Mrs. Mattie Mae Featherstone; brothers, Mr. Wade T. Brice, Sr., Mr. Eddie Brice, Sr., Mr. Willie James Brice, and Mr. William Israel Brice.
Mrs. Maggie L. Robinson attended the Foundation A.M.E. Zion Church School. She was employed with Dickies Uniform Company, and retired from the Industrial Mill. In her spare time, Maggie loved watching her CBS Soap Operas, talking with her sister and cousins from New York, eating fish from Captain Steve's, her drinks without ice, and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Maggie L. Robinson was a faithful member of Foundation A.M.E. Zion Church, where she joined at an early age and gave her life to Christ, until her health declined. She was a Member of the Golden Age Club, former Member of the WHOMS, Life Matron of the Life Members Council, Life Member of the Connectional Lay Council, former Member of the Hymn Choir, former Member of Adult Class #1 in Church School, and a former Usher.
Mrs. Maggie L. Robinson leaves to celebrate her life and cherish her memories her devoted son, Mr. Robert (Mary) Edwards of Chester, SC; one daughter, Mrs. Patricia (Jeffrey) Fisher of Florida; a host of grandchildren, greatgrandchildren, and great greatgrandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Geneva B. Caldwell of Catawba, SC; one brother, Mr. Frank Brice, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; one nephew whom she thought of as a son; Mr. Leon (Barbara) Brice of Rock Hill, SC; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, church family, and friends.
I rejoined the words hyphenated across line breaks and otherwise kept the text as printed, including "greatgrandchildren" as one word and the semicolon after "thought of as a son."
