Master Antonio “7”
Culp
November 28, 2018 – April 18, 2026
Master Antonio "7" Culp, born November 28, 2018, battled a rare cancerous brain tumor called Epydeoma. Over the course of his fight, he endured more than five surgeries, two different types of radiation, and participated in three clinical trials. Despite his incredible strength and courage, on April 18, 2026, at 5:12 a.m., Antonio's battle came to an end at Levine Children's Hospital. He is now at peace, free from pain and struggle.
Antonio loved his family. He loved when his nieces would come over to do TikToks with him, or go outside to play on the swing set or in the bouncy house. He also loved being around his brothers and cousins playing video games or Roblox, and showing his sisters his new dance moves or simply making them laugh. Antonio was the life of the party.
Antonio had a great oncology team who took wonderful care of him, as well as the hometown heroes especially his sponsor, Janewho came into our lives, supported our whole family during the hardest time of our lives, and sent encouraging messages each day and loving us as if we were part of her family. God placed so many wonderful people in our lives while Antonio faced one of the hardest battles in life.
Throughout his journey, they even learned some of his dance moves, and they all knew he was strong like Spider-Man, one of his favorite superheroes. Antonio was our superhero. He battled this beast for nearly three and a half years and never complained he always smiled, laughed, and gave out many hugs. God sent Antonio as an angel to us, and we thank God for allowing us to have seven years with him.
Antonio leaves to cherish his memory his parents, Printiss Crosby and Ray Culp; his sisters, Kierra Mitchell-Crosby and Keaija Mitchell-Crosby; his brothers, Kadarius Crosby, Demontrey Thoms, and Ray B.
Culp; his aunts, Taquishia Crosby (wife, Dakayla Calhoun) and Felecia Culp (Rico); his uncles, Demetrice Crosby (Heather), Frank Anthony Culp (late), and Rhondell Culp; his great-aunts, Fondra Barnette and Tammy Crosby; his nieces, Kylen Mitchell-Crosby, Arielle Turner, Kamryn Turner, and My'lani Mitchell; his cousins, Tyler Barnette, Ry'lasia McCullough (Alayah Chanel Hicks), Ronricco McCullough, and Kayla McCullough; his grandmothers, Juanita Crosby and Geneva Culp; his great-grandmother, Juanita Barnette; and his grandfathers, Gary Thompson and Willie Maze Howze.
