Michael Newton Bledsoe

Mr. Michael Newton Bledsoe was born on November 16, 1957, to the late Goldie and Arthur Bledsoe, Jr., in Pineville, West Virginia. He was called to eternal rest on January 11, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center in Rock Hill, South Carolina.

​He was an excellent carpenter by trade and worked in the construction industry for most of his life. He was also an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish, forever talking about the trophies, and of course, “the one that got away”. He never met a stranger and would lend a helping hand to anyone he could.

​He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Marsha Diane Bledsoe, and two loving sisters, Sharon Nance and Carolyn Lilly.

​He leaves to cherish his fond memories, two daughters, Jennifer (Jarred Smith) Bledsoe of Rock Hill, SC and Stefanie (Launey) Eldred of Chester, SC; two brothers, Dale (Kathy) Bledsoe of Princeton, WV and Jim (Cheryl) Bledsoe of Fort Lawn, SC; three grandchildren, Brandon Nichols, Samantha Brindle, and Nathan Brindle, as well as a host of loving friends and relatives.

​We find ourselves prepared to accept the coming of the end, for our loved one lived a long and joyous life. In honor of Michael’s wishes, no memorial service will be held. He will be deeply missed, and we will carry his memory forever in our hearts.
