Miranda Hasona Kettles

Ms. Miranda H. Kettles of 1652 Crawford Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina, was born on April 23, 1954, in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Floyd Kettles and Joyce Dean of Newark. She transitioned to her Heavenly home on Saturday, February 8, 2025.

She moved to Rock Hill, South Carolina, after marrying the late Johnny Marion Mitchell.

Ms. Miranda was an active member of Gethsemane Church, where she was a member of the Women’s Ministry and sang with the Mass Choir before her health declined. She looked forward to Wednesday to fellowship with her sisters, The Spiritual Talk Bible Study Group, she talked about the goodness of the Lord and her big baby, Stephon. She was also a member of The Friendship Club of Chester, South Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her special friend of many years, Jerry Kennedy.

Ms. Miranda leaves to cherish her memory, her only son, Stephon Kennedy; several nephews, cousins, and numerous friends who will miss her dearly.
