Na’Tarsha Michelle Parks, 53, of Rock Hill, South Carolina, transitioned into her heavenly home on Monday, April 7, 2025. Na’Tarsha was born in York County, South Carolina, to Catherine Delois Parks and the late Charlie Jones.
Na’Tarsha was educated in the public school system of York County School District. Throughout her adolescent and teenage years, she also lived in Patterson and Woodbridge, New Jersey.
Na’Tarsha accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age, building a foundation of faith that guided her throughout her journey. At the time of her transition into eternal rest, she was a devoted partner of The Well Church, where she faithfully served in the Ministry of Hospitality.
Over the years, Na’Tarsha worked as a Certified Nursing Aid. She made her home in both Rock Hill and Summerville, South Carolina. Na’Tarsha most recently worked for MacLean Power Systems, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication. Despite her busy schedule, Na’Tarsha always made her family a priority—especially her beloved children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world.
Those who knew Na’Tarsha, affectionately called “Butta”, knew her as someone who deeply loved God, cherished her family and friends, and had a special fondness for the color purple. To know her is to know that she never missed a chance to say, “I love you,” and she showed her love unconditionally. Na’Tarsha was caring and freehearted and prided herself on being there for others. No matter the time of day, she was only a phone call away for those who were in need.
Na’Tarsha had a gift for making people laugh and loved to have a good time. A true life of the party, Na’Tarsha loved to dance, listen to music, sing, take photos, and enjoy every moment to the fullest.
Na’Tarsha was a fashionista and always dressed to impress -- from head to toe. Her radiant smile and magnetic personality lit up every room she walked in.
Na’Tarsha was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Jones, her grandmother, Sarah Elizabeth Parks, and her uncle Willie Jones.
Na’Tarsha leaves to cherish fond memories her mother, Catherine Delois Parks; her children, Oc’Tavius Parks (Dreka), Te’Errica Gordon (Deshawn), Ta’Vorris Phillips, and Je’Charian McCloud all of Rock Hill, SC, and Le’Darian Phillips (Raven) of Summerville, SC; her aunts, Evelyn Marshall and Essie Watson (Lex) both of Rock Hill, SC; her uncles, Sammie Lee Jones (Anita) of Rock Hill, SC and Nathaniel Jones (Cathy) of Atlanta, GA; fourteen grandchildren, O’Marion, Zy’Mir, Deon’Tae, Bre’Errica (of the home), Keontae, Joy, Taylor, Kyrin, Ariya (of the home), Elijah, Daniel, Nasir, A’Viyah, and Phoenix; two godchildren, Jonathan Davis (Tanajah) and Brittany Davis; three great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
