Patricia Jane Putlak

Patricia Jane Putlak of Pineville NC passed away peacefully at age 82 on August 26, 2023 following a progressive battle with Multiple Sclerosis and chronic colon disease. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends at the time of her death.

Patty was born on April 22, 1941 (B.C- Before Computers) to Alice and Lawrence Burke in Chicago, IL. After graduating from St. PIUS Catholic School in 1959 , she went on to study finishing school for a career as an administrative assistant. After graduation, she took her first job at Encyclopedia Britannica in Chicago. During her time working in Chicago, she met the love of her life Dennis Lambert Putlak, and they wed in 1960. Within a short period of time she started a family having 2 children, Jacquelyn and Denny within 15 months of each other. She moved across the country with her husband due to corporate transfers living in several different states including Lincoln, NE., Albany, NY, Minneapolis, MN, Lisle, IL, Clearwater, FL and finally the Charlotte area. She learned the trade of sales and marketing taking various positions selling real estate and creating a successful employment recruiting firm in Minnesota.  She passionately enjoyed playing Golf and socializing with friends. She was always the comedian at the party with an endless supply of one line “zingers” making everyone laugh. She loved to laugh! We will miss her terribly!

Patty was preceded in death by her father Lawrence “Larry” Burke and her mother Alice “Lal” Burke. She is survived by her sister, Mary Ann Dempsey, (Chicago, IL.) her two children Jacquelyn Marie Isenberger (Jaclyn – Husband Greg) of Lancaster SC and Dennis “Denny” Michael Putlak (wife Michele) of Atlanta. She was a loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren Alex Taylor Isenberger 30 of Denver, CO, Michael David Putlak 26 of Canton, GA, Lauren Nicole Isenberger 26 of Charlotte NC, Jeffrey Alan Putlak 25 of Canton, GA. She was a loving great grandmother to Aubrey Dean Twitty 2 of Charlotte, NC.

The family will host a Celebration of Life ceremony in honor of Patricia Putlak Sunday September 10 th , 2023 at 1:00pm to 3:00pm at The Dorchester Independent Senior Living – 12920 Dorman Rd Pineville NC 28134 .
