Peggy Jean Clark Ervin

Peggy Jean Clark Ervin, 73 of 2640 Blue Road, Rock Hill, South Carolina, departed her life on July 25th, 2024, at Piedmont Medical Center in Fort Mill SC.

Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Cora Knightner Clark and Sammy Clark Sr. and her brothers, Sammy Clark Jr., Torrence Clark, Troy Clark and her sisters, Patricia Clark Sandifer, Gwendolyn Baptise, nephew, Jonathan Clark, her lovely grandson, Charles “Day-Day” Ervin and her special friend John “Chicken” Jeter.

Peggy attended West End Elementary School and Emmett Scott High School. Peggy enjoyed fishing, decorating homes, attending church, and helping others. Peggy retired from Spencer Gifts in 2021.

Peggy leaves to cherish her fond memories her children Shemeka Ervin, Charles Dion Ervin, Jermaine Sanders (Nicole), and special grandchild she raised in the home with her Charles James Ervin (CJ); sisters: Bertha Gwyn (Art), Betty Clark Hope, Gail Walton all of Rock Hill, SC; brother, Gary Clark; her most precious grandkids, Alexis & Sha’Darika Ervin, LaKiya McClure, C.J., Meionna Ervin, Ashanti, Zareia, Kayla, Jaylin Sanders, Kaleb Truesdale, Katarius (KT) Gill, Ja’Mari Gore, Gabby Hope, Darion Walker; great-grandchildren, Carson Ervin of California, and Autumn “Snootie” Ervin of Rock Hill and a special godchild, DeQuinton Walker; special cousin, James Haywood Davis; very close and special childhood friend, Rev. Wade and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
