Mr. Ronnie Blair Massey Jr. of 226 Aristide Drive, York, South Carolina, entered into his eternal rest on Thursday, October 3, 2024.
Ronnie was born on MAy 10, 1961 in York County, SC, to Ronnie Blair Massey Sr. and Selena Allen.
Ronnie was educated in the Rock Hill School District in his early years and graduated from Rock Hill School of Rock Hill, SC. He then enlisted into the military, he furthered his career attending truck driving school and became a full time driver for various trucking companies.
Ronnie accepted Christ at an early age and joined Catawba Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church and later joined White Hill A.M.E. Zion Church after meeting the love of his life. As part of his spiritual growth, he became a faithful member of the usher board, trustee board and men’s choir.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father: Ronnie Blair Massey, Sr.; brother: Bennett Eugene Massey; mother-in-law: Sitrena S. Berry; father-in-law: William O. Berry, Sr.; and brother-in-law: Bennie Roberts.
Left to Cherish fond memories are his loving wife of 28 years, Rhonda B. Massey of York, SC; mother, Selena Allen of Rock Hill, SC; stepmother, Mabel Gloria Massey of Rock Hill, SC; stepson, Brilton J. Berry (Jamie) of Rock Hill, SC; step-daughter, Mileah Johnson of Rock Hill, SC; three sisters, Yvonne Byers, Anne Chalk (Patrick), and Twanna Davis, all of Rock Hill, SC; sister-in-law, Brenda Roberts of Hickory, NC, Donna B. Long (Rev. William N.) and LaVerne Berry, both of Rock Hill, SC; two brothers-in-law, Bill Berry (Rev. Deloris), and Andre Berry (Victoria) both of Rock Hill, SC; best friends, Bobby Lee Jones, Michael Heath, Clark Brown, Gary Mitchell, Nard Moorer, Melvin Hutchinson, Carl McCloud and Earl Dunlap; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
