Roshunda Patrice "Shunda" Watkins

Ms. Roshunda Patrice Watkins, affectionally called "Shunda" was born May 23, 1973 in Columbia, South Carolina to the late Mr. William Billy Watkins and Ms. Barbara Miller.  She departed this life on Saturday September 23, 2023.

Shunda was educated in the schools of Rock Hill, South Carolina and attended Rock Hill High School.  She spent the majority of her career assisting clients in debt remediation efforts as she excelled in delivering exceptional Customer Service, as demonstrated by her many awards and professional acknowledgments.

Shunda was known to exhibit her love and affection to all those she encountered, as she never seemed to meet a stranger.  Those who knew Shunda will forever remember the sound of her contagious laughter, bright smile, and the warmth of her spirit.  She was always the life of any event she attended!

Shunda was proceeded in death by her Grandmothers Ms. Cora Lee Patterson and Ms. Robbie Watkins, both of Rock Hill, SC; and her first cousin Octavious (Twain) Patterson of Charlotte, NC.

She is survived by her mother, Ms. Barbara Miller of Rock Hill, SC; her fiancé Donnie Brown of Rock Hill, SC; mother-in-law Peggy Blake of Rock Hill, SC; stepdaughter Kinsley Sims of Rock Hill, SC; Sister Tonya Watkins of Charlotte, NC; Brother Driq Miller (Osllusia) of Charlotte, NC; Sister Belinda Ervin of Rock Hill, SC; Nieces Teairra Davis of Charlotte, NC and Layla Ervin of Rock Hill, SC; Nephews Kelton Watkins, Devin Watkins-Chisholm, and Dos Miller of Charlotte, NC; Uncle Sonny Patterson (Katie) of Charlotte, NC;  Aunt Shirley Graham (Ervin) of Rock Hill, SC; Uncle Bobby Patterson (Nancy) of Charlotte, NC; Aunt Vivan Geter of Rock Hill SC; Uncle Larry Patterson (Michelle) of Kings Mountain, NC; Aunt Leah Patterson of Charlotte, NC;  Aunt Brenda Crenshaw of Rock Hill, SC; Aunt Alice Watkins of Rock Hill, SC; Aunt Robbie Crockett (Horace) of Rock Hill, SC; Aunt Sheila Nelson of Rock Hill, SC; a number of first cousins including Nakita Youngblood (Robert) of Rock Hill, SC; ShamekaBarber (Charles) of Rock Hill, SC; Teri Smith (Paul) of Washington DC; Shawana Gains (Malcom) of Charlotte, NC; Bobby Patterson Jr. of Washington DC; Sonetra Patterson of Charlotte, NC; Ervin Patterson (Ebony) of Rock Hill, SC; Larry Patterson Jr. of Charlotte, NC; Corteshia Bailey of Charlotte, NC; Lamar Patterson of Charlotte, NC; and a host of other first cousins, extended family and friends.
