Stephanie D. Mcmullen

Ms. Stephanie McMullen, 53, of 759 Clarinda Street, Rock Hill, SC 29730 departed her earthly journey on Friday, January 11, 2024. Stephanie, was affectionally known by her family as “Cool Baby” AKA “Coolie”.

Stephanie was born on May 12, 1970 in Rock Hill, SC, to Mrs. Brenda Neely McMullen Davenport and the late Mr. Richard McMullen, Jr.

​Stephanie was a member of SOLO Church in Rock Hill, SC under the leadership of Pastor C.T. Kirk she was a faithful dedicated member affectionally known for her Outreach Work. She was a proud graduate of Rock Hill High School class of 1988 where she also received her cosmetology license. She was a dedicated, passionate, employee of Care Givers on Demand of Rock Hill, SC. A cook to her heart…LOVED cooking and her children thought or really thinks no one could cook but their mother.  They compared everyone’s food to their mother’s and of course, Coolie came out on top every time.  Who is going to make that good old hot dog coleslaw and chili, dressing, pasta salad, her “special” cheesecake desserts, and that infamous chicken salad? If you knew her, then you know she had to have her lipstick…red definitely, however blue, purple, green…whatever the mood or occasion; that was our Stephanie.

Stephanie, in addition to her mother, leaves behind in loving memory; son: Jon’Daricus D. McMullen (Clarissa), of Lancaster, SC; twin daughters: Leandrea N. McMullen-Williams and Deandrea M. McMullen, both of Rock Hill, SC. A Grandson, reared as her own: Zavontay McMullen; in addition, four grandchildren: Ja’HiyaBailey-McMullen, JonDaricus McMullen, Jr, Camryn Bailey, and Josiah Bailey of Lancaster, SC; sisters: Jacqueline “Jackie” L. Jones of Rock Hill, SC, Tiffany “LaShawn” McMullen-Washington (William) of Lake Wylie, SC and Shandrica Walker,of York, SC; brothers: Brandon McMullen of Rock Hill, SC, Marlon Davenport (Dorothy) of Mineral Springs, NC Five aunts: Margaret Neeley of Buffalo, NY, Mary Alice Jackson of St. Louis, MO, Sarah Haughton of Yonkers, NY, Bobbie Marshall of Rock Hill, SC, and Kimberly McMullen of Charlotte, NC; two uncles: Willie Gene Neely, Sr. and  Michael Brown; special sister/cousin: Linda Haughton; sister/best friend: Shenetha Dickerson (Ernest).
