Sylvia was born on May 9, 1963 to the late Robert L. McCray and Martha E. McCray

Sylvia was a graduate of Northwestern High School, and retired from Saluda Trail Middle School.

Sylvia loved to draw and design clothes, playing word puzzles, and most definitely watching movies.

Preceding her in death, her brother David McCray.

Sylvia leaves to cherish her fond memories one daughter, Candace McCray (Steven); one son, Timothy Lamar McCray both of Rock Hill, SC. Three sisters, Rhonda D. McCray, Jacqueline A. McCray, Evelyn McCray all of Rock Hill, SC; one brother Steven A. McCray of Rock Hill, SC; six grandchildren Kamal (KJ) Kelley, Caleb Williams, Camryn Williams, Reina McCray all of Rock Hill, SC; Caitlin McCray and London McCray of Lancaster, SC, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other rela-tives and friends.
