Thomasena Douglas Jones

Ms. Thomasena Douglas Jones was born on November 30, 1966, to Thomas Douglas and Brenda Ervin Lumpkin. She entered eternal rest on January 18th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, service, and resilience.

Thomasena was a proud veteran of the United States military, serving her country with honor and dedication. Her strength, discipline, and sense of duty shaped not only her service but also the way she lived her life–always standing firm for the people she loved.

She was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Brenda Ervin Lumpkin; her sister, Iene Owens; and her brother, Christopher Michael Douglas.

Thomasena leaves to cherish her husband, Willie Jones III; stepfather, Larry Lumpkin; her daughter, Pamela Jones; her sister, Senetra Mitchell (Melvin); her brothers, Tony Douglas (Katrina), Roland Douglas, Tommie Reed (Lisa), Corey Douglas, and David Owens; four cherished grandchildren, NaDamien, Ashlyn, Nash, and Alayna, who brought her immense joy. She is also lovingly remembered by a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and dear friends.

Thomasena will be remembered for her strength, her devotion to family, and the quiet ways she showed love. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
