A son birthed on May 30th 1980 to Vanessa Long and Nathaniel Mitchell. Victor entered eternal rest on Thursday, May 22nd, at Prisma Health Heart Hospital in Columbia SC.
Victor affectionately known as “Vick”, was educated at Cooley High, and Glen Mills School from 1995-1997, in Concordeville, PA where he earned his certifications in Broadcast Communication. He was able to use his skills, running his mouth and DJing for his Glenn Mills School and family and friends. Vick was the captain of Glen Mills National Powerlifting Team. And was awarded Pennsylvania State Powerlifting Champion in 1996. Vick was the life of the party and loved music. His greatest joy was eating and loving on his family and friends. Vick will definitely be missed.
Left to cherish these and other fond memories is his mother Vanessa Long-Frazier of Rock Hill SC, three brothers, Qunicy (Cynthia) Long of Georgia, Patrick Long of Detroit Michigan, James Brown; sisters, Na’Tanya Matier of Detroit, Michigan, Jocelyn Titus of York, SC, Nikki Gill of Rock Hill, SC, Sylvia Gill of Georgia; special aunt, Linda Walton of Rock Hill SC; his fiancée, Keshia Mingo of Lancaster SC; sons, Jakente Douglas (Ericka) of Charlotte NC, Deonte Mingo (Faith) of Lancaster SC; granddaughters, Shuri Douglas and Leilani Mingo; In-laws. Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Crawford of Lancaster SC; special friends, Sammie Mingo, Juan Burris, and Quinton Cunningham; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was proceeded in death by both maternal and fraternal grandparents, father, Nathaniel Mitchell and sister Celesia “Lisa” Eady.
