Willie Carnell “Still Bill” Gaither

Mr. Willie C. “Still Bill” Gaither, 65, of 319 Walkers Mill Circle, Apt. 205, Rock Hill, South Carolina, departed this life on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Piedmont Medical Center. He was born
on January 28, 1958, in York County, South Carolina, the son of the late J.C. Hart and Quincy Bell Odom. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerry Gaither, David Watkins, and Joe Watkins; and two sisters, Mozelle Turner and Nancy Beckham.

He was educated in the public schools of York County and graduated from Rock Hill High School. He graduated from York Technical College, where he obtained his Associates degree in Refrigeration.
Willie was a veteran of the United States Army, Artillery Division.

Willie was a dedicated, lifelong member of Nazareth Baptist Church, where he served as an usher and Pastor’s Aide. He was also a former
member of the Gospel Chorus. He loved all sports, but football was his favorite. One of his favorite phrases he would say was “back in 1963”…..He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his spouse, Drucilla Elaine Robinson-Gaither; special, special companion, Jo’Ann Perry; seven sisters, Nora Gaither, Percilla G. Brice, Jackie Erby (Walter), Ivette Watkins, Paulette Watkins, Geneva Hart, Kathy Hart, and Barbara Hart; four brothers, James Gaither, Jimmy Page (Sandra), John Hart, and Charles Gilmore; godmothers, Viola Hart and Minnie Agurs; goddaughters, Kisha Long and Trina Perry; godsons, Jeffrey Perry and Kaysen Cunningham; play sister, Phyllis Agurs; and a host of nieces and nephews.
