Willie C. Jones

Mr. Willie Clarence Jones was born on June 29, 1947 to the late William Gaston Sr. and Mary Craig in Rock Hill, South Carolina. He departed this life on June 24, 2025 at the Veterans Administration in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Willie Jones was affectionately known to his family and friends as "Bibby". He was a devoted husband to his late wife Ernestine Robinson Jones for 32 years before her passing in 2002. Willie received his formal education through the Rock Hill School District and Charlotte Mecklenburg School System. He later enlisted in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged in 1968. He worked numerous years for Radiator Specialty and Glidden Paint Company. He also drove for Sniender Trucking Company and Yellow Cab Taxi Company.

Willie was preceded in death by his Father Willie Gaston Sr., his Mother Mary Craig, his Wife Ernestine Jones, his Brothers Charles Jones and James Jones, and his Sisters Jesse Mae Walker and Margaret Jennings.

Willie leaves to cherish his memories his loving 6 children; Sari Broadie (Dale McKinnon), Ronald Jones, Howard Robinson, David Jones, Clarence Jones and Natosha Jones (Terry Jackson) 7 Grandchildren; Marquis Davis, Shaniqua Robinson, Da'Zasia Drayton, Porche' Jones, Kaylyn Jones, Tylar Jackson, and Kyron Jackson. 7 Great Grandchildren ; Kay'onni Jones, Kannon Scott, Kash Scott, Kyon Jones, Kyng Johnson, Kayden Johnson, and Dylan Moore. Also a Host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
