Willie Mae Neal

Mrs. Willie Mae Neal, 92 years young of 117 Englishman Drive, Rock Hill, SC went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 16, 2025. She was born on August 23, 1932, in York County to the late Thomas Taylor, Sr. and Willie Mae Cherry Taylor.

She attended York County public schools. She was a faithful member of Weeping Mary Baptist Church where she served as Mother of the Church, previously served on the Usher Board, Missionary Department, Kitchen Committee and Trustee Board.

She was married to the Love of her life, the late James "Nuddy" Neal for 44 years until death did them apart. She loved reading, attending church worshipping God, cooking and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James "Nuddy" Neal; daughters, Hattie Mae Neal, Dorothy Mae Neal, Pat Warren; sons, James "Sonny" Neal; brothers, Thomas Taylor, Jr., Willie Raymond Taylor, Michael Taylor, David Taylor; sisters, Heny Taylor, Dorothy Taylor, Mattie Lee Taylor, Tomasina Taylor.

Mrs. Willie Mae Neal is survived by five daughters; Ann Vance (Ronnie), Susie Hall (Marvin), Sandra Neal, Brenda Neal (Chris), Jackie McMullen (Les); two sons, Bobby Neal (Y vette), Ronnie Taylor; brother-in-law, Menzel "Honey Pig" Neal of Rock Hill, SC; sisters, Rosa Baker (Joe), Helen Taylor of Charlotte, NC; brothers, J.C Taylor (Darlene), Charles Taylor, Bernard Taylor of Charlotte, NC She has thirty-six grandchildren, seventy-five great-grandchildren, and twenty-one great-great-grandchildren; special cousin caregiver, Yvonne Cherry of Rock Hill, SC and a host of other relatives and friends.
