Mr. Winston David Jones, 70, known to many as Victor, passed away on October 21, 2025. Born July 15, 1955, to the late Claudius John and the late Hilda Fleming.
Winston grew up in Carriacou, West Indies, and accepted Christ at an early age. At the age of 22, he moved to the United States to pursue a career in general contracting. He was in the field for 38 years; he was a hard worker and enjoyed teaching others the trade. He also was a great family man who took pride in raising his children and grandchildren alongside his wife. He was a great influence to the youth of the family as well as the extended family.
Winston loved cricket and baseball; his favorite baseball team was the New York Yankees - he never missed a game. There was rarely a time you could catch him not wearing his favorite hat.
Known for his cheerful laugh and strong sense of family, Winston made sure he always worked hard to bring everyone together.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jacqueline Burg Jones, son, Tyler Jones, sisters, Sarah and Sandra.
He is survived by his son, Lester Johnson of New York, daughter, Tiarra Jones of South Carolina, son, Jordan Jones of South Carolina; brothers, Andre and Curtis; sisters, Jocelyn, Jean and Sharon; grandchildren, Cayce, Donovan, and Brianna; and great-grandchild, Carter; his loving nieces, Nicole, Danielle, Jasmine G, Shivonne, Rhea, Sadia, Jasmine, Juliette, and Alexis; nephews, Karl, Dwayne, Matthew, Jamal, Ryan, Duran, Durano, Randy, Wavell, and Irvin; his aunts, Dr. Matilda Fleming and Gracelyn Pope; uncles, Bishop John Issac Fleming and Pastor Emmanuel Fleming; sisters-in-law, Gozel Yvette Fleming and Vanessa Burg; brother-in-law, Biggie Noel; a host of great-nieces and great-nephews, other relatives and friends including the Fleming Family, Burg Family, Alexander Family, Noel Family and Jones Family of the U.S. and Carriacou.
