Funeral services are a way for family, friends, and loved ones to mourn those who have passed away. At Robinson Funeral Home, we help people move through their grief by working with families to create fitting tributes. It is our privilege to serve you during this time and we do so with compassion and caring.
Our services are available at the church or venue of your choosing, as well as all local cemeteries. If you wish, you may also hold your visitation or funeral service at our on-site chapel.
Types of Funeral Services
Funeral services can be customized to be as unique as the individual they celebrate. Our funeral directors will help you select the right type of service for your particular needs.
Traditional funeral services are a way to remember the legacy of your loved one through a more formal service with the casket present, followed by a short burial service at the graveside. A time of visitation may also be included. Our funeral directors and attendants will care for your every need, taking care of all the details so you can focus on what’s most important.
Our staff will work with your family to plan a service that tells the story of their life. We’ll walk you through the process of selecting a casket, flowers, program, music, and other elements of the funeral service. If needed, we’ll also assist with finding a minister, musicians, or pallbearers. Special services are available for military veterans.
Celebrations of Life
Celebrations of life are similar to traditional funeral services but give the family more personalized ways of honoring their loved one. You may wish to play your loved one’s favorite music or have guests share special remembrances. We’ll help you create a service that leaves those in attendance with fond memories of the departed.
Some families choose to only have a graveside service. Although these services are less formal, we will create an atmosphere of dignity and respect. We’ll work with you to select an order of service (including music, if you wish) that is a loving tribute to the person who has passed on.
Memorial services may resemble either a traditional funeral, celebration of life, or graveside service. The main difference is that the body is not present at the service. Many families choose to have a public memorial service and a private burial. We will work to accommodate your every request to the best of our ability.
Robinson Funeral Home works with our partners to provide cremation services to our families. After cremation, we will help you plan a celebration of life, memorial service, or graveside service as a final tribute to your family member if you so choose.
